About
A small kitchen, tested twice
Honest Comfort Recipes is an editorial recipe site run by Diane Marchetti, cooking the way people actually cook: one pan, one hob, a phone propped against the flour tin.
How we develop recipes
Every recipe is cooked at least twice in a domestic kitchen on a domestic hob, then written in grams and millilitres with cup measures alongside. If a step can be cut without losing the result, it gets cut.
Photography
All photography is shot in natural light on the day the dish is cooked. Nothing is styled with inedible props or replaced with stand-ins.
Questions and corrections
If a recipe does not work for you, we want to know. Reach us on the contact page and we will retest it.
